Minutes of Board of Directors Meeting

In Attendance:

Absent:  Hearl Mead, Vice President and Roger Verszyla, Director were absent from the meeting.

 

Phil Spiller called the meeting to order at approximately 7:16 PM.

 

The June 20, 2007 Board Meeting was held at the law offices of Daughtry and Jordan, located at 17044 El Camino Real.

 

The agenda was adopted as presented.

 

Homeowner Forum:  None in attendance for discussions.

 

Approval of Minutes:

A motion was made to approve the June 20, 2007 minutes, as amended.  Motion passed.

 

Management Report:

The Action Items were reviewed and discussed. 

 

The Financials were reviewed and discussed.  A motion was made to cash in and deposit the $21,101.37 from the cd into the checking account when it comes to term on 8/3/07.  Motion passed.  A motion was made to approve the May and June financials as presented.  Motion passed.

 

The Correspondence Log was reviewed and discussed. 

 

The Inspection Report was reviewed and discussed. 

 

Committee Reports:

Architectural Control: No applications this time.

Crimewatch:  Lisa and Cathy were in attendance to discuss National Night Out. 

Recreation: No one in attendance to give report. 

Playground:  No one was in attendance to give report.

Newsletter/Website:  It was asked if the dues could be mentioned in the October and January newsletters.

Landscape:  No report was given.

Welcome: There were two new owners this period.

 

Old Business:

Eagle Scouts Community Projects – Mr. Merta was in attendance to discuss the various projects.  The scouts have completed the slats at the pool fence, re-striped and power washed the pool parking lot and power washed the playground equipment.  They have also installed new swings at the playground and are currently looking at benches to install at the tennis court area.  The scouts will be looking at doing a car wash to help raise additional money for the projects.  Mr. Merta will forward the information on about the car wash to post on the website.

National Night Out – Mrs. McCarra and Mrs. Forsythe were in attendance to discuss the upcoming National Night Out at the pool.  They stated the police will be available to do the children’s finger print kits.  They also have had door prizes donated from Schlitterbaun and the YMCA.  A DJ will be there to play music and hot dogs will be served.

 

New Business: 

No New business to discuss.

 

There being no further business to discuss, a motion was made to adjourn to Executive Session at approximately 8:09 PM.  Motion passes unanimously.
